Bio & Background![]() A life-long interest in things psychic and paranormal led me to pursue a career as a mentalist and mindbender, to produce live on stage the kinds of effects parapsychologists have been researching for years. While I'm not convinced that these phenomena exist, I find them to be endlessly fascinating areas for speculation, as well as foundations upon which to build entertaining presentations. A background in theater and some research into some pretty esoteric subjects also contribute heavily to my apparent ability to read the thoughts of total strangers, make predictions which come true before your very eyes, and generally bend the minds of the audience. To see a show is to become a participant, for not all the demonstrations are of my abilities, but often yours as well. These performances have been described as "spooky", "creepy", "elegant" and "sardonically humorous". My work has brought me to a number of wonderful places over the years: from Salem's Hawthorne Hotel, to Newport's Belcourt Castle, to Manhattan's Metropolitan Club. My expertise and interests have also led to some pretty unusual consulting work. I have appeared before students and faculty at Bristol Community College in Fall River, Massachusetts (where I apparently contacted the spirit of Lizzie Borden), as well as Emerson College and MIT. Over the years, I have performed for bar patrons, educational groups, nightclub crowds, New Year's Eve revelers, champion bridge players, and even a coven of witches! And of course I have met and performed for many interesting and wonderful people, from thorough skeptics and devout believers, to the many, many people in between. I have met people on all sides of the question, and what always intrigues me is that almost everyone has an opinion on whether or not telepathy exists, or if the spirits can return, or whether or not we can predict the future. Through the years I have found that you don't even have to believe in any of these claims to find them compelling, any more than you have to believe that the actor onstage really is a melancholy Danish prince whose uncle has just murdered his father in order to get completely caught up in that experience. Remember, we're in the Theater of the Mind, and not just my mind... but yours as well. Past clients and the things they have said about me can be seen here.
